A Customer who supplies Garden Products into Major Retail Outlets contacted Intec Foams and the remit was to look at supplying a foam pad suitable for kneeling and sitting on.
The foam needed to bond to a Polypropylene Moulding. After supplying some different densities, sizes and thicknesses to test, it was agreed by the customer to work with a charcoal coloured physically cross-linked, closed cell polyethylene foam.
The closed cell nature of the foam gives support and impact resistance and the adhesive tape that was developed with our Adhesives Supplier bonds perfectly to both substrates.
Prototypes were produced from Tooling for final approval/sign off prior to Bulk Production.
We were requested to supply in Cartons on a Euro-pallet and Booking In arrangements needed to be made 48 hours prior to a timed delivery.
Goods were produced and delivered on time.
